We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual passionate about advocating for the rights of individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others, particularly in motor vehicle accidents. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will be responsible for handling a variety of personal injury litigation matters. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law with a focus on motor vehicle accidents. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, a high level of professionalism, and a commitment to excellent client service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, primarily focusing on motor vehicle accidents from inception to resolution.
2. Conduct client meetings and recommend strategies.
3. Develop and draft legal documents on behalf of clients.
4. Advise clients on their legal rights, obligations, and how to navigate through complex insurance claims.
5. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes.
6. Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
7. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
8. Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
9. Prepare and draft legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
10. Gather evidence to formulate a defense or initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing clients and witnesses to ascertain the facts of a case.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law with a focus on motor vehicle accidents.
3. Admitted to practice in the state and in good standing.
4. Proven record of accomplishment in the industry.
5. Exceptional analytic skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
6. Strong negotiation skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
10. Proficient in legal research and writing.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
12. Strong understanding of procedural laws and rules in state court.
13. Proven ability to handle a large caseload and work within strict deadlines.
14. Experience with trials, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
