GENERAL PROPERTY MANAGER

Manchester–Nashua metropolitan area

Salary $115,000 annual plus bonus

Benefits Paid time off, health insurance, 401k, Flex Spending

Overview:

This General Manager will oversee all aspects of a large multi-family residential community. This position is goal oriented to ensure the property exceeds designated goals while maintaining a safe, secure, comfortable living experience for residents. In addition, this position is expected to uphold all Company policies and values. The ideal candidate for this position will be highly organized with a focus on achieving financial and occupancy goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations of designated properties including leasing, maintenance and renovations
  • Prepare annual budget
  • Oversee construction/special projects of property
  • Ensure projects are on schedule, meeting timeline goals, working within limits of budget
  • Coordinate and oversee external vendors and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate accounting for projects and renovations, process invoices
  • Meet property reporting deadlines
  • Ensure property meets operating goals for occupancy, revenue, collections, NOI
  • Create positive work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Experience as a multifamily residential regional property manager – 5+ years
  • Experience using Yardi – minimum 2 years; Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Renovation experience a plus.
  • Experience with city code and compliance issues
  • Must have strong skills in following areas:
    • Customer service
    • Leadership
    • Problem solving
    • Written and verbal communication
    • Detail and goal oriented
  • Ability to handle interpersonal situations.
  • Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner while prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to property management.
  • Must be available nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to travel.
