How You Will Make an Impact
- Design and implement scalable relational and dimensional data models for enterprise analytics.
- Build optimized data models to streamline data ingestion and transformation workflows.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to design efficient, compliant, and well-documented data solutions.
- Conduct data profiling and ensure governance, lineage, and quality across enterprise data assets.
- Manage structured and semi-structured data formats, including JSON and complex nested types.
- Support product managers in designing data products that deliver actionable insights.
Are You a Proven Data Modeling Professional?
Here’s what you’ll need to bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or data governance.
- Advanced expertise in GCP, BigQuery, SQL, and Python.
- Strong understanding of normalization, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing.
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (JSON, Structs).
- Familiarity with ERwin, Wherescape, or ER/Studio.
- Knowledge of retail banking or credit card data domains and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GCP Professional Data Engineer or Architect certification
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and metadata management
- Familiarity with data mesh principles
