Senior Information Technology Manager

Job Description

The purpose of this position is to strategically plan, manage and execute IT for the organization ensuring that the company’s information technology is continuously available and secure. The IT Manager is responsible for the overall development, organization, and implementation of all IT functions across multiple locations along with day-to-day infrastructure/enterprise management and end user implementation and support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and enforce appropriate and stringent cyber security through all IT applications utilized by the company.
• Reviews and implements necessary compliance of all customer contract requirements regarding cybersecurity and other IT related responsibilities.
• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for technical solutions.
• Provides training to all employees regarding IT policies, procedures, and new or updated software and hardware.
• POC for 3rd party managed service provider.
• Support and administer core tools, systems and applications used across multiple departments.
• Provide first-rate IT, Wi-Fi and telephone infrastructure to enable employees to seamlessly accomplish their daily tasks regardless of location.
• Onboard new employees efficiently and provide quick and effective desktop/mobile support.
• Setup IT infrastructure for new remote offices and ensure IT infrastructure scales and supports growth in existing offices.
• Develop creative technology solutions to streamline business processes through automation and self-help tools.
• Develop and execute cost optimization strategies around telephones, systems and desktop support and manage related third-party vendors.
• Ensure the continuous and secure operation, administration and maintenance of DXI’s computing and networking infrastructure, including security, privacy, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Validate and further strengthen controls and implement regulatory /compliance requirements.
• Responsible for the selection, implementation, enhancement and support of applications.
• Overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals.
• Researching and recommending new products.
• Directing the effective delivery of networks, development, and disaster recovery systems and processes.
• Leverage cloud infrastructure and plan, design and migrate on premise to cloud resulting in scalable and cost optimal infrastructure.
• Assuming responsibility for training programs for end users.
• Creating and administering all aspects of IT policies and procedures.
• Assuming responsibility for network and systems performance and security features.
• Determining overall IT direction and implements long-term IT solutions.
• Oversee and develop a maintenance / update schedule for hardware and software programs/ applications ensuring that all necessary updates are completed.
• Ability to foresee possible issues and troubleshoot them proactively.
• Performs all other duties as assigned, verbally or in written form

Requirements

• 8 or more years of IT experience.
• 5 or more years as Manager/Director/CIO for company with 300+ employees.
• Experience with multiple divisions/regions and numerous remote users.
• Network strength is desired and supporting network operations, optimization, infrastructure & system architecture and implementation.
• Solid working knowledge of current security protocols and threats.
• Monitor and oversee the department’s response to any system outage and ensure that any/all escalated issues are resolved quickly and efficiently with relevant corrections to process, or procedures are made.
• Leadership ability is paramount.
