This major global financial services firm is seeking an experienced DB2 Mainframe Database Administrator (DBA) to join their teams in any of these locations- Jersey City, Nashville, Pittsburgh, or Orlando. This role requires strong expertise in DB2 administration on IBM z/OS mainframe platforms with experience supporting global 24/7 environments. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week and includes bonus opportunities. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders as no visa sponsorships or transfers are available.

Responsibilities

• Implement, design, and support DB2 database management structures
• Administer DB2 databases on mainframe z/OS systems
• Use IBM replication technologies for DB2 environments
• Engage in development, testing, implementation, and maintenance activities
• Assist in creating physical database designs
• Utilize DB2 Connect for application integration
• Support database application teams to ensure smooth operations
• Manage DB2 backup and recovery procedures
• Maintain DB2 data integrity and consistency

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DB2 database administration
