Job DescriptionConcession ManagerSeven Fields, PADescriptionThis seasonal employee is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Pool, including admission/concession stand. Work is performed with input from the Manager. The Pool Manager reports directly to the Town Manager.Duties

• Supervises the activities of the lifeguard/concession staff and develops their work schedules at 2-week intervals.
• Ensures that the proper number of guards are on duty and are adhering to the proper rotation schedule to maintain an optimum level of safety at the pool and provide for adequate coverage at the admission gate and concession stand.
• Orders, stocks and maintain inventory records for items sold at the Park Concession Stand by establishing relationships with area vendors.
• Establishes concession stand prices with guidance from the Manager.
• Maintains financial records for the concession stand including inventory control reports and deposit reports.
• Performs daily cash register reconciliation and submits daily deposits and reports to the Manager
• Submit reports as requested by the Manager regarding the operation of the pool.
• Oversee the adherence of the pool rules as established by Council.
• Oversees adherence to the pool admission policy.
• Delegates the above-mentioned responsibilities to the Head Lifeguard on duty when personally not available.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with the general public.
• Ability to organize staffing.
• Knowledge of retail sales operations
• Ability to assemble, organize and present financial information.
