Maintenance Manager | Grand Haven, MI

Salary Range: $88,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and supervise the maintenance team, including scheduling and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and optimize preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and installation of production machinery and facility infrastructure.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory, tools, and external contractor services.
• Ensure all maintenance operations comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production management to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical expertise in industrial mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven ability to implement and optimize preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising, training, and developing maintenance teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Advanced experience with CMMS administration and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography).
• PLC programming or industrial automation experience.
