Partner - M&A

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Partner in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to lead our growing M&A practice. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients on complex transactions, including cross-border mergers, joint ventures, and strategic investments, while ensuring due diligence and proper structuring of deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage M&A transactions from initiation to completion, ensuring client objectives are met.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and analysis of potential deals, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Structure complex transactions to meet clients' financial and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory changes impacting M&A activities.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • $300k+ book of business in mergers and acquisitions or related fields.
  • Ability to lead teams
  • Ambition and desire to grow book of business
  • Demonstrated expertise in handling complex transactions and cross-border mergers.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on structuring and due diligence.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of successful client management and relationship building.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
