Job Description
Job Description
Trades and field service pros know how to talk with homeowners about real decisions. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role moves that experience indoors, away from the job site and the weather.
What you'll actually do
- Follow up with people who requested information and set appointments by phone or video
- Ask about the household before presenting anything, like scoping a job before quoting it
- Walk through coverage options and complete the application together
- Follow each case through underwriting and update the client along the way
- Log calls, notes, and next steps in the CRM
- Learn products, carriers, and state rules through ongoing training
Who this is a fit for
- A background in skilled trades, construction, or field service
- Comfortable giving a straight answer, including "that one isn't right for you"
- Willing to learn software, including quoting tools and a CRM
- A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
- Self-directed, managing your own schedule with no foreman
- At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
What we provide
- Guidance through state licensing if you aren't licensed yet
- Contracts with 43 carriers, so you recommend what fits instead of one company's lineup
- Access to exclusive lead systems built around people who've already asked about coverage
- A weekly team call, with call reviews, scripts, and ride-alongs available
- One-on-one mentorship from Ben and Andrea, who run the agency
The honest part
Compensation: paid under an independent contractor (1099) contract. If you want to stay hands-on with tools, this isn't the right fit. Apply through this listing; questions: (928) 889-6338.
