Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Fudale Tavern Inc is looking for an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team in Rocky River, OH! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your craft behind the bar and create memorable experiences for our guests in a welcoming tavern atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar and restaurant guests
- Greet customers, take drink and food orders, and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout each shift
- Process payments accurately using a POS system and handle cash transactions
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and opening/closing duties
Requirements:
- Previous bartending or bar service experience preferred
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Must meet Ohio minimum age requirement to serve alcohol (21+)
- TIPS or ServSafe alcohol certification is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
