About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Non-Judicial Foreclosure Operations Manager who will be responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of foreclosure processes, ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient handling of non-judicial foreclosures across all jurisdictions served. This role ensures the smooth operation of the foreclosure lifecycle, meeting client SLAs and internal performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
1. Process Management:
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of non-judicial foreclosure files, from intake to completion.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, notices, and legal processes are properly executed.
- Monitor the progress of cases to guarantee timely closure in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
2. Team Supervision:
- Directly manage a team responsible for document preparation, mailing, posting, publication, and title review.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team members are performing their duties effectively and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure continuous professional development of team members.
3. Turnaround Time Monitoring:
- Monitor and track the progress of foreclosure files to ensure adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs) and internal timelines.
- Identify bottlenecks in the process and proactively address any delays to meet deadlines.
4. Jurisdictional Nuance Handling:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of state-specific operational requirements and ensure the accurate implementation of these regulations in each jurisdiction served.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay informed about changes in local laws affecting foreclosure processes.
5. Resource Allocation:
- Assign caseloads and manage staff workloads to maximize operational efficiency and productivity.
- Adjust team resources as needed to meet volume fluctuations or address potential challenges.
6. Escalation Point:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff-related and process-related escalations.
- Address and resolve complex or sensitive issues, offering guidance and support to team members.
7. Coordination with Oversight Manager:
- Collaborate with the Oversight Manager to implement corrective actions and continuous process improvements based on oversight review findings.
- Ensure feedback from oversight reviews is incorporated into daily operations to maintain high levels of compliance and performance.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience within a Law Firm Setting or Default Environment
- Trustee experience, preferably within a Law Firm Setting
- 5+ yrs of prior managing experience within a mortgage default or foreclosure space
- Direct Management/Leadership experience with the ability to manage a team effectively and provide coaching and/or development opportunities.
- Strong Knowledge of Excel
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with high attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads
