Job Description
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to help treat patients and promote good oral health practices. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages. You should have deep knowledge of relevant health and safety rules and a good eye for oral diseases and anomalies. We are a privately owned office and are committed to helping our patients. The office works with Eaglesoft software. continuing education, CPR training, and scrubs are provided.
Responsibilities
- Ensure patients feel comfortable before their examination
- Sterilize dental instruments properly
- Identify & treat conditions like gingivitis, or periodontitis
- Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)
- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral health care
- Take X-rays
- Maintain documentation and oral health on each patient
- Skills
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
- Attention to detail
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene;
- Valid license to practice
- Hours: could be modified and we are flexible
- Mondays :7:45am to 4:30pm
- Tuesdays :7:45am to 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:45am to 4:30pm
- Thursdays: 7:45am to 5:00pm
- Fridays: 7:30am to 12:00 or 1:00pm [Hours can be adjusted for your schedule]
