Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Oracle Middleware position for our client in Lisle, IL.

Duration: 6 months

Duties:

Provide technical support and monitor existing SOA composites.
Design, develop, and implement new SOA solutions using Oracle SOA 12c.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving BPEL, Mediator, File/FTP, DB, JMS, and REST adapters.
Ensure all service development adheres to development standards and guidelines, completed on time with high quality.
Support production deployments and project go-live tasks.
Develop SOA composite applications, web services, and REST APIs using BPEL, business rules, and adapters.
Adapt existing architecture to align with new business goals.

Skills:

Extensive experience with Oracle SOA 12c development.
Hands-on troubleshooting with BPEL, Mediator, File/FTP, DB, JMS, and REST adapters.
Strong understanding of SOA best practices, service development standards, and deployment processes.
Good to have: Basic knowledge of Java.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

10+ years as a SOA developer working with Oracle SOA 12c.
Proven experience supporting production deployments and designing/implementing SOA solutions.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
