Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary SME for Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) under a one (1)-year contract, which includes but is not limited to the following:
Cisco DNAC Expertise:
o Onboard, provision, and manage network devices (e.g., routers, switches,
wireless controllers, and access points).
o Utilize DNAC assurance features for network health monitoring, troubleshooting,
and anomaly detection.
o Maximize proficiency in Software-Defined Access (SDA) fabric design,
implementation, and operations (e.g., border, control plane, and edge nodes).
o Manage network policies, segmentation (e.g., virtual networks [VNs]), and
security integrations (e.g., Cisco ISE).
o Leverage automation features, templates, and workflows for efficient network
operations.
Implementation and Operations:
o Lead the planning, deployment, and configuration of Cisco DNAC solutions and
related network infrastructure components.
o Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best
practices for DNAC management.
o Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, and capacity planning for the
DNAC appliance and managed network.
Troubleshooting and Resolution:
o Act as an escalation point for complex network issues, leveraging DNAC’s
analytics and troubleshooting tools.
o Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for critical incidents related to network
performance, connectivity, and security.
o Collaborate with Cisco TAC and other vendors for advanced issue resolution.
Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer:
o Provide expert guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to junior network
engineers and operations teams.
o Create comprehensive documentation, runbooks, and playbooks related to
DNAC operations.
Required Skills
Proficiency in Software-Defined Access (SDA) fabric design, implementation, and
operations (including border, control plane, and edge nodes).
Desired Skills
Cisco Certified Network Practitioner (CCNP) certification with Designing Cisco Enterprise
Networks (ENSLD) concentration examination is preferable.
