Job DescriptionOur law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. $75,000 - $130,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
- Work closely with and provide leadership to administrative staff concerning client billing, client meetings and invoicing, as well as finalizing client projects
- Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
- Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks
- This position will be required to bill and collect a certain number of hours.
Qualifications:
- Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
