Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal for a full-time, on-site position located in The Woodlands, TX. The role includes managing cases, preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing case documents, and effectively communicating with clients and other legal professionals. The paralegal will provide vital support for family law cases and work closely with attorneys to ensure efficient case management and client service. The Family Law Paralegal will handle cases from Intake through Trial and must have a full understanding of family law procedures and filings.
Qualifications
- 4 Years of Experience in Family Law
- Strong foundation in law with knowledge of family law principles.
- Proficiency in legal document preparation and document review.
- Excellent research skills to gather relevant case information and legal precedents.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Clio.
- Experience with Efile Texas filing pleadings.
- Experience with filing in Harris and Montgomery County.
- Certificate or degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in family law is required.
