Position Summary

The Field Service Technician position is a valuable front-line position in our organization, and is responsible for ongoing service delivery, urgent service response calls, and installing new security/alarm systems for our clients in New York City and the surrounding area.

This Position Requires:

· Experience supporting electronic security systems.

· Experience developing and maintaining system applications and network configurations.

· Alarm, access control and CCTV installation and service experience including experience working with various alarm panels, including DMP and Radionics, Software House

· An electronics technician degree, military technical school or equivalent experience.

· Solid work record (at least one year is preferable).

· A passion for delivering excellent customer service.

· An ability to work and communicate confidently at all organization levels.

· An ability to work independently and recognize when to access available assistance and expertise.

· Valid NY driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

· Install and service alarm systems

· Network wiring at customer site

· Preventative maintenance inspections

· Implement hardware and software upgrades

· Respond to customer problems and offer solutions.

· Resolve any software or hardware problems at customer site.

· Instruct engineer users on hardware capabilities.
