Information Technology Project Manager (Local only)

Job Description

On-Demand Group is currently seeking for an IT Project Manager for a 12-month contract engagement.

Position Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Hybrid

Term: 12 month contract

Seeking highly motivated Project Manager to drive our projects to achieve atypically high levels of success.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience

4+ years in IT project management, including exposure to all phases of project life cycle

Experience with Agile project management approaches such as Scrum and Kanban

Ability to travel as needed for company business and professional development

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed for system implementations and issue resolution

Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex information to a wide variety of audiences

Strong stakeholder and team management skills

Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency with project management tools including Jira, Excel, MS Project, and Visio

Ability to effectively manage budgets, schedules, risk, and scope

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Extensive experience with a variety of project management methodologies

Effective at facilitating meetings and motivating cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with product owners to evaluate and prioritize feature requests, ensuring they are well-justified, high-value, and deliverable on aggressive timelines

Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements

Create and maintain detailed project plans and schedules

Communicate regularly with stakeholders, sponsors, and leadership on project status, risks, and milestones

Lead cross-functional teams and foster commitment to project success

Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across departments

Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies

Resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize impact on timelines and budgets

Track and manage project budgets, costs, and expenditures

The projected hourly range for this position is $65 to $75.
