Job Description
As a Warehouse Dispatch Leader, you will oversee daily dispatch operations, ensuring that products are accurately checked, safely loaded, and delivered on time. You will manage and motivate a team, working alongside them to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a dispatch team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Work hands-on loading kitchen cabinets into delivery trucks.
- Verify orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality before dispatch.
- Move and manage heavy carts and products safely throughout the warehouse.
- Coordinate daily workflow to meet dispatch schedules and delivery targets.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members in both English and Spanish.
- Provide on-the-job coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Enforce health and safety procedures and promote safe working practices.
- Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records, logs, and shift handovers.
- Ensure the dispatch area remains clean, organized, and efficient.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production supervision and management.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Experience in manufacturing operations and processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or leadership experience is beneficial.
- Skills in continuous improvement and safety procedures.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wilkes Barre, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
