Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and daily living activities.
- Support client participation in recreational and community activities.
- Implement individualized care and support plans, monitoring progress and documenting observations.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy, promoting clients’ rights and dignity.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, families, and team members to optimize care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct support or related fields preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
