Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Document patient information and care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Complete NIH and stroke education requirements as mandated for acute care RN roles
- Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements

Required Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Virginia RN license or compact license in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience, with specialty experience within the last year
- EPIC electronic health records experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- NIH and stroke education required
- One supervisory reference required at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Experience in a high-volume acute care emergency department
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance requirements and assignment expectations
