Position Summary

We are seeking a IT and Cyber Security Manager who brings a willingness to grow and lead the IT and Cyber Security department here at Specialized Coating Services LLC.

Specialized Coating Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to extent their experience with DOD compliance and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate would be someone either with existing experience or some experience and moving from a MSP seeking greater specialization. The role is new and will be leading the company’s CMMC compliance initative for NIST 800-171, as well as maintain compliance with ITAR and related cybersecurity requirements. The role will also have, and be assisted in, core projects including selection of new equipment in support of key compliance initiatives, directing the buildout of the new server room, own the development, maintenance of SSP POA&M and change management plans. The role will coordinate with external assessors, supporting consultants and company stakeholders. Maintaining documentation of the system setup. Regularly assess control adequacy and maintain documentation of testing events. Maintain awareness of evolving regulatory requirements from CMMC, DOD or the industry in general.

This role would support the company in Fremont, CA as well as in Billerica, MA. Site travel is expected about 5-10% of the time.

Leadership

· Self starter with ability to both self perform and project manage multiple projects at the same time.

· Ability to evaluate and manage an outsourced MIS partner.

· Ability to evaluate and manage an outsourced Cybersecurity compliance partner.

· Ability to lead and provide guidance at an executive level working with non-technical partners.

Applicant should have an understanding of:

· Access Control

· System and Communications Protection

· Configuration Management

· Audit and Accountability Testing and Documentation

· Hardware

· System Gap Analysis

· POA&M development and Project Management

· Third party audits and assessments

· CMMC Levels 2/3

· NIST SP 800-171 and the 14 control families

· FedRamp, FAR 52.204-21 and DFARS 252.204-7012

Heavily preferred qualities:

· Experience designing and implementing secure IT infrastructures.

· Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, endpoint security, and SIEM tools.

· Knowledge of secure cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft GCC High, Azure GovCloud).

Preferred Certifications:

· CISSP, CISM, CISA or CMMC Certified Professional (CCP/CCA)

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.

· Master's degree or equivalent experience in IT governance or security is a plus
