Key Responsibilities
- Perform as a costumed mascot at events, promotions, and community engagements
- Engage with diverse audiences in a friendly, animated, and approachable manner
- Create a lively and welcoming atmosphere through movement, gestures, and non-verbal communication
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure smooth execution of appearances
- Maintain the integrity, character, and professionalism of the mascot role always
- Adhere to all safety guidelines while in costume, including hydration, breaks, and environmental awareness
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Background in acting, performance, theater, or entertainment strongly preferred
- Naturally friendly, jovial, and engaging personality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to scheduled events
- Comfortable performing in costume for extended periods (including standing, walking, and light physical activity)
- Strong awareness of surroundings to ensure safe interactions with guests and staff
Safety & Professional Standards
- Ability to safely perform in a mascot costume (heat awareness, visibility limitations, mobility considerations)
- Follow all company safety protocols and event guidelines
- Maintain professionalism while representing the organization in public settings
