This role combines delivery driving with hands-on warehouse and door assembly work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. You will help receive and organize stock, assist with hanging doors using hand and power tools, and support delivery routes by transporting materials to job sites. The position requires consistent physical activity, attention to detail, and clear communication while working at a fast pace alongside a small, supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Receive and put away stock, including trim and doors, in the warehouse and ensure materials are organized and readily accessible.
- Assist with hanging doors by using hand and power tools, including a manual router, while following established specifications and measurements.
- Accurately read and use a tape measure to ensure precise cuts, placements, and fittings for doors and related components.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds on occasion while following safe lifting practices.
- Serve as a helper on delivery routes by riding along with a full-time driver, assisting with loading and unloading, and delivering materials to job sites.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to receiving, inventory, and deliveries as needed.
- Work on your feet for an 8-hour shift while maintaining a fast and steady work pace.
- Collaborate with 1–2 team members or work independently at a designated station, contributing to daily production and delivery goals.
- Communicate clearly and loudly when needed to coordinate tasks, clarify instructions, and ensure safe operations.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear such as steel-toed boots.
- Support customer service expectations by handling materials carefully and representing the company professionally at delivery sites.
- Meet daily goals and stay focused and engaged throughout the shift in a goal-driven environment.
Essential Skills
- At least 6+ months of experience using hand or power tools.
- Ability to use a manual router and other basic power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure.
- Capability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak loudly and clearly.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks safely while working at a quick, consistent pace.
- Clean driving record and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check for the driving component of the role.
- Experience with receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics.
- Comfort working on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift.
- Reliability, focus, and the ability to stay engaged and goal-oriented throughout the workday.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with doors, windows, or related building materials.
- Background in customer service, especially in a delivery or field-support environment.
- Familiarity with documentation related to inventory, receiving, or deliveries.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or carpentry setting.
- Ability to bring and use personal steel-toed boots, a hammer, and a tape measure on the first day.
- Comfort working with wood products and basic carpentry-related tasks.
- Strong teamwork mindset and willingness to assist others as needed.

Work Environment
You will work primarily in a clean, organized warehouse that operates in a controlled temperature environment and focuses on wood products such as trim and doors. The team consists of approximately 6–8 people, creating a close-knit and supportive atmosphere where collaboration is encouraged and assistance is readily available. The dress code is casual, with steel-toed boots required for safety, and you will also use personal tools such as a hammer and tape measure. The role involves standing for 8 hours a day and working at a fast pace, either at an individual station or alongside 1–2 coworkers. You will also spend time on delivery routes, assisting with transporting materials to job sites, which includes loading and unloading materials and interacting with site personnel in a professional manner.
