Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Data Analyst to join a team in Florida on a contract basis with the potential for a permanent position. In this role, you will turn business needs into reliable reporting, data solutions, and actionable insights that support day-to-day operations and long-term decision-making. The position offers the opportunity to work across analytics, database management, integrations, and process improvement while partnering closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Create, refine, and optimize database queries across multiple query languages to support reporting, analysis, and operational needs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather reporting goals, translate requirements into effective dashboards and visualizations, and enhance BI solutions over time.
• Build and maintain data interfaces that connect enterprise systems, databases, and external sources to ensure dependable data flow.
• Administer and monitor on-premise and cloud-based databases, helping maintain performance, availability, data quality, and security standards.
• Design and deliver custom analytics tools, automated workflows, and data-driven solutions that improve efficiency and align with business priorities.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for BI, reporting, and analytics platforms, including handling escalated issues and assisting frontline support when needed.
• Prepare and update technical documentation for reports, integrations, databases, automated processes, and other data solutions.
• Contribute to ETL and pipeline activities that support consistent data transformation, movement, and accessibility across platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and query development
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts, data integration, Azure Data Factory
• Familiarity with BI and visualization platforms, including Power BI
• Experience with scripting, automation, or low-code tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Power Platform.
• Understanding of database platforms such as SQL Server
