A leading industrial treatment company near Eden Prairie, MN is hiring a Engineering Manager to support the production floor and lead a team that includes two senior direct reports. We're open to a strong Lead or Senior Engineer ready to grow their leadership experience. Compensation: $130K–$135K annually including an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule. This is a key leadership role with visibility across operations and the change to make an impact on team development.
What you will do as the Engineering Manager:
- Oversee quality control for Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electrical Assembly
- Maintain shop presence and is available for interfacing with Production
- Review customer/contractor’s bids and specifications
- Create, modify, and finalize bills of material (BOMs) for both production and bids
- Attend project meetings as required by the project
- Create and modify electrical drawings and control panel layouts
- Assist in automation and control systems design, specification, simulation
- Implement specialized techniques and approaches to handle automation projects
- Develop customized programs specific to customer needs and requirements
- Maintain confidential operational system information
What you need to be the Engineering Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
- 2-5+ years in the panel industrial experience preferred
- Previous experience leading a team
- Ability to write and speak to director levels on reports
- Exposure to Allen Bradley/ Rockwell with CAD software
