Contract Manager- Construction Project Controls

We are seeking a Contract Manager to lead negotiations and oversee construction-related agreements for large-scale, high-tech industrial projects. In this role, you’ll drive the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and reviewing to monitoring compliance and resolving disputes—while working on complex, fast-track projects in sectors such as semiconductor, manufacturing, and heavy industrial. Responsibilities

  • Lead contract negotiations and finalization with subcontractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Draft, review, and manage subcontracts, service agreements, change orders, and amendments.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for subcontractor communications, including RFIs, claims, and notices.
  • Collaborate with legal, project management, cost control, and procurement teams to ensure consistency in contract implementation.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with contract obligations, safety standards, and U.S. regulations (e.g., FAR, Davis-Bacon Act, CHIPS Act if applicable).
  • Participate in progress payment reviews, evaluate subcontractor deliverables, and support closeout processes.
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation, including negotiation records and change logs.
  • Support dispute resolution, claim defense, and audit procedures as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate; advanced degree (JD, LLM, or engineering) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in contract or claims management within construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction law, contract terms, and cost management.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex contracts (100+ pages).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a multinational, fast-paced project environment.
  • PMP certification or Primavera P6 knowledge a plus.
