What You’ll Do
As a DSP Staff at Spero Community Service, you’ll play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting individuals with daily living activities and personal care needs.
- Supporting individuals in finding and maintaining suitable housing and employment opportunities.
- Encouraging and fostering independence, self-confidence, and skill development.
- Providing companionship and building positive, trusting relationships.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals you support.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking compassionate, dedicated individuals who share our commitment to helping others. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field or working with individuals with disabilities.
- A genuine desire to support and advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
