We offer a tiered pay plan, longevity bonuses, on-the-job training, and a comprehensive benefits package.Job DetailsSalary: Competitive, based on experience and certificationsJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Fenton, MIKey ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles.Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and recommend necessary services.Utilize OEM diagnostic tools such as wiTECH and adhere to manufacturer repair procedures.Document work accurately and communicate effectively with Service Advisors.Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.About LaFontaine Automotive GroupEstablished in 1980, LaFontaine Automotive Group operates 54 retail franchises and 9 collision centers across Michigan with nearly 2,500 employees. Job Requirement:Qualifications and SkillsValid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).ASE Certifications or State Equivalent; Chrysler Level 1–3 Certification preferred or willingness to complete.Minimum of 2 years professional technician experience preferred.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.Ability to interact positively with team members and uphold company confidentiality policies.Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.High School Diploma or GED required; Michigan Mechanic Certification required.Excellent communication skills and professional appearance.Capable of meeting company production and quality standards.Physical RequirementsOccasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.Occasional walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.Frequent lifting or moving of up to 25 pounds; occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
