We are looking for someone who has a love for children. We believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child through age-appropriate learning and play.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children ages 6 months–12 years.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and transitions.
- Plan and engage children in developmentally appropriate activities, games, and learning experiences.
- Support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding child progress, daily activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play area.
- Adhere to all state licensing regulations, center policies, and health/safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (CDA, Associate’s, or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Previous childcare experience with infants, toddlers, preschool, or school-age children.
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively participate in play and activities.
