Position Summary

The Grid Master is the high-energy host of the Grid City experience. This role is part game master, part hype leader, and part guest guide. Grid Masters run immersive experiences with confidence, keep energy high, manage guest flow, deliver clean and exciting briefings, and make sure every group feels welcomed, supported, and fully dialed in from start to finish.

Core Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with strong energy and help set the tone for an unforgettable visit.
  • Host and facilitate VR games, racing simulator sessions, and other immersive attractions.
  • Deliver clear, confident pre-game instructions, safety rules, and gameplay briefings.
  • Keep sessions running on time by managing transitions, pacing, and guest flow.
  • Maintain a fun, polished, and engaging atmosphere on the floor at all times.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment or gameplay issues and escalate larger issues quickly.
  • Support birthday parties, team-building groups, corporate events, and special activations.
  • Encourage add-ons, memberships, return visits, and guest engagement through strong hospitality and product knowledge.
  • Reset and maintain play areas so each group enters a clean, organized, ready-to-go experience.
  • Coordinate closely with the front desk, managers, and lounge support team to keep the operation smooth.

Qualifications

  • High energy, strong communication, and confidence leading individuals and groups.
  • Ability to stay composed and upbeat in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable speaking to guests of all ages and group sizes.
  • Hospitality mindset with attention to detail, timing, and presentation.
  • Interest in gaming, immersive entertainment, events, theater, or live guest interaction preferred.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
