Now Hiring: Sawyer Operator – Lumber Yard
Are you skilled with saws and comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor environment? A well-established lumber yard is looking for a Sawyer Operator to join their team!
Location: Chicopee, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2nd shift | Occasional Saturdays (TRAINING ON 1st)
Pay: $20 per hour 
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operate saws to cut lumber to specified dimensions</li>
<li>Read and interpret cut sheets and work orders</li>
<li>Maintain and inspect equipment for safety and performance</li>
<li>Assist in loading and stacking lumber as needed</li>
<li>Follow all safety procedures and protocols</li>
<li>Work closely with the yard and production teams to meet daily goals</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Prior experience operating saws in a lumber or manufacturing setting preferred</li>
<li>Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints</li>
<li>Comfortable working outdoors and in a physically demanding role</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and safety</li>
<li>Reliable and punctual</li>
