The Role:
This role will be tasked with the purpose of maintaining company licenses and responsible for researching, data collection, and maintaining compliance for the licensing process. This includes jurisdictions across the United States
Responsibilities:
· Thorough understanding of the researching and applications of licenses for various jurisdictions
serving authorities, internal departments, and customers throughout the US.
· Timely researching and preparing applications of licenses for various jurisdictions serving
authorities, internal departments, and customers throughout the US.
· Preparing application paperwork and submitting as needed, both online and mailings. This
includes payments.
· Assist in coordination with license/permit authorities, our internal departments and for clients
to fit our business needs, ensure timely collection of supporting documents.
· Track licenses required to operate in jurisdiction and for renewals.
· Run reports to ensure that all available licenses are in the appropriate status and step in the
approval process.
· Communicates with municipalities about deficiencies that need to be resolved.
· Reviews certifications of insurance for jurisdictions including special forms
· Reviewing application paperwork and submitting as needed, both online and mailings.
· Develop and implement a licensing workflow for initial applications, reviews, and renewals
· Interpret the licensing requirements and use discretionary decision making on how best to
proceed
· Knowing when to escalate any questionable or high security questions pertaining to company
management.
· Measure and track performance on an organized spreadsheet to show open/in progress,
complete
· Maintains contact with the project management team on upcoming start dates and work pull-
through affecting licensing demand
· Track licensing completion for future submittals where notes are kept and referenced often
Requirements and Skills:
· High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree a plus
· Active driver’s license
· Licensing experience required
· Insurance related duties a plus (able to read an ACORD 25)
· Interpersonal communication and problem-solving experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Effectively manages workflow processes
· Comfortable working within Microsoft for business
