Job Description

We are representing a very prominent manufacturing organization that is actively seeking an Electrical Engineer at their flagship manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for maintaining high-voltage electrical systems and power distribution in an industrial manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Support the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution equipment.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot electrical distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, motor control centers, circuit protection, and related industrial equipment.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, one-line diagrams, and control documentation using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • \n

  • Support electrical projects involving facility power distribution, equipment installations, machine upgrades, and system modifications.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot and support PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, industrial controls, and automated manufacturing equipment.
  • \n

  • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix and Studio 5000.
  • \n

  • Support HMI, SCADA, and controls systems, including Wonderware and iFIX.
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot industrial robots, including Motoman or similar robotic systems.
  • \n

  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79 when designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • \n

  • Strong experience with high-voltage electrical systems and industrial power distribution.
  • \n

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or heavy industrial environment.
  • \n
