Our client, an innovative leader in automotive development, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Technician to join their dynamic team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be part of the vehicle development department supporting hands-on activities such as vehicle assembly, metal fabrication, welding, and rapid prototyping. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with tools, and possess a passion for learning new skills in a fast-paced, prototype-focused environment.
Job Title: Automotive Technician
Location: Marysville, OH
Pay Range: $25-27hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 1st shift
What's the Job?
- Support vehicle assembly activities by following detailed work instructions
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, and fluid system component installation
- Support fabrication of brackets, fixtures, and prototype parts using basic tools
- Learn and perform basic MIG/TIG welding operations safely
- Operate additive manufacturing equipment and assist with 3D printed part post-processing
What's Needed?
- At least 1 year of experience supporting hands-on automotive or technical activities
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive technology
- Experience with common hand tools and willingness to learn fabrication and welding skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Basic computer skills including email and Microsoft Office
