Position: Residential Program Manager
Location: Cambridge, MA
Salary: $65,000 per year
Schedule: Full-time
Walnut Street Center is a not-for-profit human service agency that empowers adults with Intellectual Disabilities to live engaged and meaningful lives. WSC provides this by offering quality, outcome-based services which meet evolving stakeholder's needs and bring together caring, engaged, and informed family members, friends, community partners, and employees to support these individuals.
WSC is actively seeking a full-time Residential Program Manager to supervise a home supporting adults with Intellectual Disabilities.
This role is interesting because you will:
- Handle all aspects of staffing; scheduling, on-call, training, supervision and relationship management.
- Provide case management; develop and implement all aspects of ISPs, schedule medical appointments, program and clinical reviews.
- Complete or delegate the completion of administrative tasks, including but not limited to: staff payroll, updating of manuals and approval/ reconciliation of petty cash funds, house accounts and representative payee accounts.
- Conduct and supervise the teaching of activities of daily living, including but not limited to: social skills, personal routines, financial management.
- Serve as a liaison between Agency and the individuals’ family, friends and guardians.
- Implement and oversee the implementation of behavioral interventions.
- Implement and oversee the implementation of emergency procedures that ensure the safety of the individuals, both in the home and within the community.
- Administer and oversee the timely and accurate administration and documentation of administration of medication(s).
- Maintain a physically safe work environment and report work related injuries/incidents to Human Resources in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
You are qualified if you have:
- Experience managing a group home
- Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass OIG, CORI, SORI and Driving background checks
- Valid Driver's License required
- Valid MAP certification is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Covid-19 Vaccination Card
