Join our busy family practice as a Medical Biller supporting family medicine and rotating multiple-specialty practices. Reporting to the Lead Biller and Office Manager, you will assist with patient accounts, claims, payments, and accounts receivable in a fast-paced, collaborative on-site environment. Specialist billing knowledge is helpful, and training is provided for Aprima EHR and billing software by the Lead Biller. Responsibilities
- Prepare superbills for clean claim submission.
- Submit and process claims for family medicine and rotating specialists.
- Post insurance and patient payments and ensure accurate balancing.
- Rework rejected claims to support payment.
- Monitor and work accounts receivable.
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility.
- Provide frequent patient account assistance by phone and in person.
- Process credit card payments received by mail and phone.
- Process delinquent claims before timely filing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with medical billing, insurance verification, claims processing, and payment posting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective customer service and communication skills.
- Specialty practice billing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Aprima EHR and billing software is helpful but not required.

We perform xrays on site and also offer echocardiograms, ultrasounds and dopplers appointments on a weekly basis.
