Join our manufacturing team as a hands-on CNC milling expert who can set up, operate, and continuously improve machining outcomes with minimal supervision.

Positions Available

  • Horizontal Mill III — Weekend Shift
  • Vertical Mill II — Weekend Shift

Shift Schedule

  • Friday: 12:30 pm – 1:00 am
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11:30 am – 12:00 am

Why This Role Matters

You’ll transform engineering intent into reality—installing tooling, updating fixtures, pulling CNC programs, and delivering parts that meet customer specifications. Your expertise with rotary/indexing and multi-axis work will help the team achieve best-in-class throughput and quality.

What You’ll Tackle

  • Set up and operate vertical and/or horizontal machining centers; perform light edits and program retrieval.
  • Apply rotary/indexing capabilities for 3–5 axis work to meet complex geometries.
  • Confirm and optimize feeds/speeds; refine processes for throughput and consistency.
  • Inspect against blueprints using the right gauges; document and deburr during production.
  • Record program updates, setup notes, and photos to standard repositories.
  • Plan work via the Shop Floor Control System and clock operations in sequence by work order.
  • Execute minor preventive maintenance and keep a clean, safe, organized station.
  • Collaborate professionally across departments; be the teammate others count on.
  • Train operators prior to release; mentor apprentices and new hires.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues with the team; verify and sustain quality outcomes.
  • Meet agreed objectives on time; contribute ideas to departmental strategy and best practices.
  • Work within ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 systems; maintain OSHA compliance and wear required PPE.

Skills & Background

  • Around 5 years of CNC milling experience, including setups and operation.
  • Vocational education enrollment/completion or a four-year formal apprenticeship preferred.
  • Strong blueprint/GD&T literacy; solid knowledge of inspection methods.
  • Understanding of CNC programming and G & M code; comfortable with light edits.
  • Basic to intermediate tool probing experience.
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate parts and collaborate effectively.
