Job Description
- Develop, manage, and maintain project requirements, ensuring traceability from stakeholder needs through design, implementation, and operations
- Participate in and facilitate design reviews, ensuring compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards
- Support project closeout activities, including verification and validation, final documentation, as-built records, and lessons learned
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, CM analysts, and stakeholders to ensure systems integration
- Contribute to the creation, revision, and maintenance of SE governance documents, including the SEMP, SEP, and SE Handbook
- Standardize processes for requirements management, design review, risk management, and V&V across the enterprise
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure governance aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices
- Support training and rollout of SE processes to other engineers and project teams
- Work cross-functionally with project managers, engineering disciplines, operations, and executive leadership
- Participate in enterprise SE working groups and process improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or related technical field preferred
Experience:
- 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or closely related engineering roles
- Demonstrated experience with SE lifecycle processes, including requirements development, design reviews, verification & validation, and project closeouts
- Strong understanding of SE standards such as INCOSE SE Handbook or ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
Preferred Experience:
- Experience developing or maintaining governance documents such as SEMP, SEP, or SE Handbook
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and practices
- Experience coordinating with diverse technical and operational stakeholders
- Experience with metrics-driven process improvement
Security:
- Must be a US citizen
- Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
- Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Salary: $100,000 - 129,000
Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
