Job DescriptionProduction Operator – 1st Shift: Freeport, IllinoisOur customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking dependable and safety-focused individuals to join their team as a Production Operator. We're recruiting for a full-time, 1st shift position. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring quality standards, maintaining production records, and ensuring a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. Responsibilities of the Production Operator:

• Comply with all safety requirements and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Complete all required training and actively participate in team meetings.
• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to meet work order specifications.
• Install dies, load materials, and make machine adjustments as needed throughout the production process.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust equipment settings to maintain required production standards.
• Record production information accurately in computerized and manual systems.
• Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report quality concerns, defects, or production issues to supervisors immediately.
• Perform material handling duties and operate forklifts when required.
• Conduct daily safety and mechanical checks on equipment.
• Communicate machine malfunctions or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Support additional production and operational duties as assigned.

Production Operator Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year or more of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate Windows-based systems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjusted schedules when needed.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay for Wire Production Operator: $18.50/hour. Production Operator Benefits:
