About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and proactive House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and experienced in managing a household with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and oversee all home maintenance, repairs, and vendor appointments
• Manage household budgets, petty cash, and expense reporting
• Ensure all household systems (security, HVAC, tech) are working properly and serviced regularly
• Conduct grocery shopping, pantry stocking, and household supply inventory
• Cook dinner two times a week, including grocery prep and cleanup
• Complete wardrobe management, laundry, and schedule dry cleaning services whenever needed
• Handle pet care scheduling and coordination, inclusive of daily walking of small dog <20 lbs and weekly bathing of said dog
• Plan and support events, gatherings, and special occasions
• Assist with travel planning by providing packing/unpacking support
• Maintain discretion, confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism at all times
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a similar role preferred
• Comfortable cooking simple, healthy, and flavorful meals
• Strong communication, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Tech-savvy and comfortable with smart home devices and apps
• Proactive and solution-oriented with great attention to detail
• Flexible schedule and ability to adapt to changing needs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
