Position Summary: Fire Alarm Technician
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will inspect, test, repair, and install fire alarm and detection systems. You will deliver high-quality service to customers and ensure systems meet safety codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, program, test, inspect, and repair fire alarm and signaling systems
-
Follow manufacturer instructions, safety codes, and company procedures
-
Schedule and perform inspections; complete and file proper documentation
-
Communicate system issues and repair needs to customers and the company
-
Follow up to ensure recommended repairs are completed
-
Promote Eagle Fire’s services to customers and prospects
-
Train assigned Technician Trainees
-
Work as needed until tasks are complete, including occasional overtime
-
Stay current on certifications and required training
-
Follow all company standards, including the Controlled Substances and Alcohol Standard
Qualifications:
-
Ideally EST 3 or 4 Certified, or able to obtain certification

Relevant experience or education in fire alarm systems
-
Knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
-
Strong customer service and communication skills
-
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
-
Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs, work at heights over 10 feet, and in confined spaces
-
Able to stand, lift, crouch, reach, push, and pull for extended periods
-
Professional, dependable, and able to work independently
