HB NEXT is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to join our growing team in the Atlanta area. The Safety Coordinator supports the Managed Services team by providing technical and administrative support for a diverse portfolio of client safety and compliance programs. This role serves as a key resource for contractor prequalification management, regulatory compliance, safety documentation, and client support. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in occupational safety, enjoys working with clients, and is eager to continue developing professionally in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and distribute client safety inspection reports to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Manage client contractor prequalification accounts through platforms such as ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, and other client-specific contractor management systems.
  • Review client requirements, maintain safety documentation, monitor compliance status, respond to client requests, and proactively resolve deficiencies to help clients remain compliant with customer requirements.
  • Assist clients with the development, review, and maintenance of written safety programs, Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), OSHA recordkeeping documentation, and other safety-related compliance materials.
  • Respond to routine client safety and compliance inquiries while escalating complex technical or regulatory issues to the appropriate persons.
  • Research OSHA regulations, industry standards, and client-specific requirements to support consulting services and provide accurate guidance.
  • Collaborate with Safety Consultants, Client Partners, and other internal team members to deliver responsive, high-quality service to clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • OSHA 510 preferred, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
  • Three or more years of experience in occupational safety, construction safety, general industry safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations applicable to both construction and general industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing contractor prequalification platforms such as ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, or similar contractor compliance systems.
  • Experience reviewing safety documentation, compliance records, inspections, or audits.
  • Familiarity with written safety programs, Site Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), OSHA recordkeeping, and other safety-related compliance materials.
  • Experience working in a consulting, service-oriented, or client-facing environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
