Job Title: Attorney

Position Summary
The Attorney will handle litigation and advisory matters, manage cases independently, and work closely with partners and clients to develop strategic legal solutions. This position offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to take ownership of files from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Appear in court for hearings, motions, mediations, and trials
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Participate in case strategy discussions and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate billing records and meet annual billable hour expectations
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing
- Two or more years of relevant legal experience preferred
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent verbal communication and client interaction abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Civil litigation experience
- Insurance defense or employment law background
- Trial preparation experience
- Experience working with business or corporate clients
