Meat processing company in Industry now hiring meat trimmers with experience.
- 2nd shift: 10am start time
- Monday - Friday / must be open to work overtime & weekends
Requirements
- Must have recent meat trimming & butchery experience.
- Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
- Must be able to Stand for up to 10-12 hrs.
- Must be able to work around raw meat.
Responsibilities:
- Trims and customizes portions of meat products using knives or other meat productions equipment.
- Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
- Label portion with supplied number product labels.
- Set up cutting room as required.
- Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
- Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions.
- Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35 F- 45 F.
- Remove excess waste trays to the dump bins.
- Palletize boxes of Meat
- Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
- Prepare raw material box for trimming including defrost.
- Monitor meat condition and report any irregularities to team lead and supervisors immediately.
