Meat processing company in Industry now hiring meat trimmers with experience.

  • 2nd shift: 10am start time
  • Monday - Friday / must be open to work overtime & weekends

Requirements

  • Must have recent meat trimming & butchery experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
  • Must be able to Stand for up to 10-12 hrs.
  • Must be able to work around raw meat.

Responsibilities:

  • Trims and customizes portions of meat products using knives or other meat productions equipment.
  • Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
  • Label portion with supplied number product labels.
  • Set up cutting room as required.
  • Keep cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
  • Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions.
  • Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35 F- 45 F.
  • Remove excess waste trays to the dump bins.
  • Palletize boxes of Meat
  • Miscellaneous other duties as assigned.
  • Prepare raw material box for trimming including defrost.
  • Monitor meat condition and report any irregularities to team lead and supervisors immediately.
