The Application Programmer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting web-based applications using .NET technologies. This role involves full-stack development, performance optimization, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions within an Agile environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development

• Design, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain web applications
• Configure and support custom-built .NET applications
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability

Performance & Support

• Monitor and analyze application performance
• Identify issues and implement performance improvements
• Provide ongoing maintenance and technical support

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and design sessions
• Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to align with development standards
• Provide input on design and implementation strategies

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure adherence to enterprise development standards and best practices
• Maintain proper documentation for all development work

Knowledge Transfer

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams
• Support training initiatives for end users and technical staff

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, research, and special projects as assigned
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of full-stack development experience with:
  • C#
  • ASP.NET Core
  • Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• 1+ year of enterprise-level software development experience
• Strong understanding of web application development and SDLC

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience developing applications using MVC architecture with .NET Core / .NET 5+
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and Bootstrap
• Experience with SQL Server and database development
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Vue
• Experience working in a collaborative development team environment
• Exposure to client-facing development, deployment, and maintenance activities
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
