Job Description

Job DescriptionResidential Support Assistant (Multiple Shifts!) LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Residential Support Assistant for our nonprofit client located in Downtown San Diego. There are multiple shifts available (including an overnight shift and a day shift) and the positions will be 100% onsite and a contract opportunity. These positions will be focused on supporting guests and staff within an interim housing environment and will assist with room checks, administrative needs, de-escalation, and other duties as asked. Interested candidates must feel comfortable working with individuals who are experiencing homelessness, mental health and/or substance abuse ailments, as this role will be within a shelter environment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year working with the homeless population
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Skills

  • Compassion and empathy towards others while being able to maintain a professional boundary
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Can work well under pressure and de-escalate situations as needed
  • Independent, proactive and collaborative
  • Able to time manage properly and work well with others



Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
