SPRINGFIELD ASSISTED LIVING is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, clinically sound care in a supportive onsite environment.

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents, coordinating with the care team, and ensuring safe, effective treatment plans are implemented. This role combines clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a commitment to resident-centered care.

As an RN, you will monitor and assess resident condition, administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, and maintain accurate documentation that supports continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessing resident needs, monitoring health status, and responding to changes in condition.

  • Monitor and delegate medication administration and treatments in accordance with facility policies, clinical protocols, and physician or provider orders.

  • Coordinate daily care with nursing assistants and other care team members to support consistent, resident-focused outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation, including charting, care notes, and required compliance records.

  • Support infection prevention and safety practices while helping maintain a respectful and therapeutic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

  • Ability to assess patient/resident needs and make timely, appropriate clinical decisions.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a care team.

  • Commitment to resident dignity, confidentiality, and professional standards of care.

  • Ability to manage clinical tasks reliably in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related care environment.

  • Familiarity with care planning, care coordination, and continuity-of-care documentation.

  • Demonstrated competence in clinical observation, escalation, and prioritization.

  • Experience supporting staff through coaching, shift communication, and quality-focused practices.
