Core Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure grocery items are well-stocked and properly rotated to ensure high standards of quality
· Create and build product displays, ensuring proper fronting of products
· Handle product damages and credits according to company policy
· Appropriately price all grocery items
· Demonstrate knowledge of store products and item location
· Participate in annual physical store inventory; assist with daily cycle counts
· Share ideas, information and experiences that will benefit the Nutrition Center and/ or company
· Provide exceptional service to customers
· Operate cash register to process customer orders and returns
· Create and establish smoothie recipes; operate smoothie bar equipment to complete
customer orders
· Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling and sanitation
· Assists with facility maintenance as needed
· Regular onsite attendance is an essential function of this position
· Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
· Physical demands include long periods of standing, walking, carrying, lifting, climbing, kneeling, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push/pull up to
200 pounds
· 1+ years in a retail grocery environment
· Must be flexible to rotate between various areas in the Grocery Department including
but not limited to Cashier/Register, Stocking/Receiving and Sales Floor
· Must demonstrate initiative and proactive approach to daily job tasks
· Knowledge of health foods preferred
