Position Overview

\n
- \n
- Develops and optimizes CNC machining processes for new and existing production programs
- Programs, edits, and troubleshoots CNC equipment to resolve part quality and cycle time issues
- Selects tooling, fixturing, and cutting parameters to improve process reliability and yield
- Conducts time studies to establish standard work and validate performance against cost targets
- Applies statistical process control and capability analysis to drive consistent, high-yield production
- Supports new product introduction, including process planning, tooling, and work instructions
- Analyzes production data to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Leads root cause investigations for scrap, rework, and machine downtime issues
- Partners with Quality and Operations to reduce scrap and improve first-pass yield
- Champions cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor
- Provides hands-on technical support to machine operators and production teams

Position Requirements
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred)
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with CNC machining processes
- Working knowledge of CNC programming and machine setup/troubleshooting
- Solid foundation in root cause analysis and structured problem solving
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office; CAD/CAM experience preferred
- Familiarity with statistical process analysis tools preferred
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods a plus
